Hand engraved glass Dandelion design engraved on to the surface All hand made- each one unique Measures (aprox) 4cm x 5cm Dandelions are bright yellow flowers which are considered weeds. They form fluffy seed heads that are a childhood delight. Some refer to them as wish flowers, thinking that if you make a wish as you blow away the seeds you might get some luck. Another tradition is to count how many breaths it takes to blow all the seeds away as a means to tell the time. These drawings of this weed are meant to evoke these memories of childhood summers. Jessica uses her drawing skills to make beautifully thoughtful decorative items by either hand engraving or pyrography. She works from a little corner of BV studios in Bristol.
