This is a one off original piece.
This piece was part of an exhibition about landscape and topography of Bristol. Artists involved took a balloon flight over Bristol, which inspired the creation of the artwork.
Seeing patterns within Bristol streets and landmarks, lino printing and the possibilities of repeating imagery using this process fitted well with this idea of pattern.
Sarah produced five original pieces using a mix of lino printing, directly rollered ink, cut & torn paper and silver leaf.
This piece is a collection of 16 lino prints of recognisable Bristol places, mounted at different heights according to the topography of central Bristol, these sit on an abstract river ink-rolled through.
Silver leaf highlights points in the river and buildings wehre the sun catches, as you fly overhead.
The overall size of the frame is 52.5cm x 52.5cm.
