Shimmering silver dichroic glass pendant. Eva's sparkling dichroic glass jewellery pieces are perfect for people who want to feel beautiful wearing something special. Each piece of jewellery is handmade by Eva in Bristol, UK, by fusing together transparent and dichroic glass in a kiln heated to around 800C and allowed to cool very slowly. Placing clear glass on top of the bottom coloured layer gives a shiny, glossy finish and magnifies the colours of the dichroic glass underneath.
Dichroic glass has a unique property of reflecting one colour while transmitting another. This makes the colours of the finished piece change when it moves and means every single piece is completely unique.
